Moral Story – Frog Want a Ruler

A long time ago there lived some frogs in a pond. All the time they argued with each other and so they wanted a ruler who would end their disputes.

The Gods sent them a ruler in the form of a log. It splashed into the water and frightened all the frogs. But as the log stayed still, they realized that it was harmless and started taking advantage of it. They found this ruler unsatisfactory and so they asked the gods for another one.

This time they were sent a snake which gave them no freedom at all. In fact, it made a prey of all the frogs and so that was end of them and their arguments.

Moral of the Story “Frogs Want a ruler” – Men realize the worth of a kind ruler only when a tyrant rules them.
