Zebra Facts

Zebras are members of the horse family (Equidae) and are medium sized. The animals have white coats with black (sometimes brown) stripes. No animal has a more distinctive coat than the zebra. Each animal’s stripes are as unique as fingerprints no two are exactly alike. zebras use stripes for camouflage.

Zebra is a social animal that spend time in herds.Zebras have excellent hearing and eyesight and are capable of running at speeds of up to 40 miles  per hour. They inhabit grasslands and consume large amounts of vegetation, which is a good source of energy and nutrients.
