The Mystery of the Missing Moonlight
One night, the forest was dark—too dark. The moon was gone! Bella, the curious bear cub, looked up. “Where’s the moon?” she asked.

“I don’t know,” said Ollie, the wise owl, flapping his wings. “But we need to find it!”.
“I’ll help!” said Bella.
“Me too!” chirped Tilly, the little bird.
“Count me in!” barked Rusty, the playful fox.
The friends set off.
As they walked, strange whispers filled the air. Bella’s ears twitched. “What was that?”
“It’s just the wind,” said Rusty. But he stayed close to Bella, just in case.
By the river, something shiny caught their eye. “Could it be the moon?” chirped Tilly.
They found a glowing stone.
Suddenly, Luno the old turtle appeared. “This isn’t the moon,” he said.
“But if you’re looking for it, go to Misty Hill. That’s where the moon hides when it’s sad.”
“Sad? Why?” asked Bella.
“No one thanks it for its light,” Luno replied.

At Misty Hill, the friends heard soft crying. They followed the sound and found the moon, glowing faintly.
“Why are you sad, Moon?” Bella asked.

“No one cares about me,” the Moon said. “Everyone loves the stars, but no one thanks me.”
“That’s not true!” said Rusty. “We need your light to feel safe.”
“Yes!” chirped Tilly. “Without you, nights are too dark.”
Bella smiled. “You’re magical, Moon. We love you.”
Hearing this, the Moon began to glow brighter and brighter, lighting up the forest again.
The Moon rose high into the sky, shining brighter than ever. The forest was filled with its soft, magical light.
As the friends walked home, Bella said, “Sometimes, even the moon needs to hear that it’s loved.”
From that day on, every time the animals saw the moon, they waved and said, “Thank you, Moon!”
From that night on, the Moon never hid again, because it knew it was loved.
