Grapes Facts
Grapes are one of oldest known cultivated fruits. Grape is the second most popular fruit after oranges. It can be eaten as a refreshing snack as well as used in vegetable and fruit salads.
Grapes also contain high levels of caffeic acid. This acid is a strong cancer fighting substance. Grapes also add fiber to the diet and are naturally low in sodium. Raisins, or dried grapes, contain only about 15 percent water.
