Tiger Facts
Tiger is the member of cat family, with the Amur (Siberian) tiger weighing as much as 360 kg. Although it is found in a variety of habitats, tigers always requires dense vegetative cover, an adequate supply of large ungulate prey, and access to a reliable source of water.
Tigers are renowned for their power and strength. Tigers use their distinctive coats as camouflage. Tigers live alone and aggressively scent-mark large territories to keep their rivals away. They are powerful nocturnal hunters that travel many miles to find buffalo, deer, wild pigs, and other large mammals.
